Mark Rippetoe CSCS is the owner of WFAC. He has 25 years experience in the fitness industry, 10 years experience as a competitive powerlifter. He has coached athletes in barbell and strength sports since 1980, and has worked in the fitness industry in Wichita Falls since 1978. He was in the very first group to sit for the NSCA's Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist exam in 1985, and has been continuously certified since then. He was certified by USA Weightlifting as a Level III Coach in 1988, and currently holds the Senior Coach certification, as well as the USA Track and Field Level I Coach certification. He is the author of Starting Strength: Basic Barbell Training and co-author of Practical Programming for Strength Training. He has published articles in the Strength and Conditioning Journal, and is a contributor to the CrossFit Journal. He has coached numerous national level competitors, and thousands of people interested in improving their health and strength.

Josh Wells, NSCA-CPT is a weightlifting coach and trainer at WFAC/CrossFit Wichita Falls. He is currently a graduate student in Exercise Physiology at Midwestern State University. He is an Olympic Weightlifter and has been competing for 8 years in the sport. He was a member of the 2003 Junior Pan-American Team and 2004 Junior World Team, and competed in the 2004 Olympic Team trials. Josh is a coach for the Midwestern State University Olympic Weightlifting Team.
