All members of WFAC are provided with individualized instruction and a training program designed to meet their particular fitness goals. Programs at WFAC emphasize the use of barbell exercises to achieve these objectives. The superiority of free-weight training has been substantiated in numerous studies over the past 50 years. Barbell training combines all the best features of resistance exercise in one modality. The staff at Wichita Falls Athletic Club are by far the most highly qualified and experienced coaches of barbell training in the area.
WFAC's CrossFit Wichita Falls offers a unique, integrated approach to achieving fitness. This program uses very intense, short training sessions that incorporate a wide variety of exercises. More information can be found at CrossFit.com
.Bone Unit olympic weightlifting club trains at WFAC and at Midwestern State University. WFAC and Bone Unit hold regular weightlifting meets open to all members of the North Texas LWC. Stray lifters from other LWCs are also welcome to attend open meets.
